Good afternoon, everyone.
My name is Natalie Chung, the chairperson of the Music Club. Today,
I am going to talk about my favourite album by Sparky Adams called ‘Get
to the Garage’.
Sparky Adams released the album called ‘Get to the Garage’ in 2012.
There are 12 new songs on the album, which has sold nearly 70 million
copies. Many fans of Sparky Adams really looked forward to buying the
new record.
On this album, Sparky Adams had a new breakthrough. They tried
out different genres of music from rock to even pop, as well as reggae.
Moreover, Sparky Adams tried to write and compose the songs themselves.
Dave Lam and Buck Wong are not just the singer and lead guitarist. This
time around they also worked as lyricists and composers. Cherry Tang and
Mike Fung are still the basist and drummer of the band and they helped
Mike and Buck to think of the songs. This shows strong teamwork among
the different band members.
The album has, since its release, received a lot of positive feedback.
David Holmes from the Express said that the singer’s voice really stood
out. However, Toby Wong from NST Magazine thought the band was just
showing off. I don’t think that way though. I enjoyed their songs very much
and appreciated they tried a lot of new styles.
If you’re looking for something new to listen to, I recommend you
to try the album ‘Get to the Garage’. It will definitely suit you as they use
