Travel Wong Lok Yee 3F (2016-2017)

Good morning teachers and students. Do you have any plans for the
summer holiday? Will you go travelling with your family? Today, I’m happy
to be here to share with you an experience I had on an island in Thailand. I
went there in April and I had a wonderful time there.

I’m sure all of you have heard of Thailand before, right? Apart from
Phuket and Phi Phi Island, there is also a famous island, called Koh
Samui. Do you know where it is? It’s one of the most charming islands in
Thailand. It is famous for snorkeling and diving. It is very hot in April. The
temperature can be as high as 32℃ every day.

One of the most unforgettable experiences for me was doing water
sports at the Chaweng Beach. The sand there was soft and white and the
water was very clear. Windsurfing, canoeing and surfing were really great.
The fish were beautiful and the coral reefs were colorful. I took a lot of
pictures of them. The windsurfing was very exciting too.

Another great experience was having a spa in the hotel near the beach.
The hotel was very big and comfortable. There was a swimming pool and a
spa room for customers. The spa service was great and it was really relaxing
to have a spa treatment after the exciting activities.

If you also want to visit Koh Samui, here are some suggestions for
you. It’s very hot in Koh Samui and the temperature is very high so you
should only bring shorts. Also, you must bring sunscreen; otherwise, you
may get sunburnt.
