School Life Leung Tsz Ying, Ceci 6D (2016-2017)
Good morning Principal, teachers and fellow students,
On behalf of the Student Union, I'd like to welcome all of you to our
school. I'm sure we all want to achieve success and have an enjoyable school
life, so this morning I'd like to give you some advice.
Many of us may not like to be restricted by rules and often neglect
school rules, but have you ever thought that school rules are actually
protecting every one of us? Look at the scar here on my forehead. It has
been here since I was in F.1. As a new student like you, I wanted freedom
in school and dared to do whatever I liked. I played hide-and-seek with
my friends on the first day of school and it was when my unfortunate
experience happened. That day during recess, I ran very fast and broke my
forehead. Luckily it did not damage my brain but this scar is everlasting.
So, see how pivotal school rules are. If we do not obey them, tragedies may
happen. Under no circumstances should you put yourself or your friends in
danger, right?
Apart from ensuring your personal safety, it's also paramount to stick
to the school rules to create a harmonious atmosphere in school. Who likes
to be punished? I bet you all want to have enjoyable school lives. Following
school rules is conducive to better teacher-and-student relationships.
Speaking of interpersonal relationships, it is especially essential for
us to maintain good relationships with everyone you meet. There's a
saying that the friends you meet in your secondary school lives are the best
buddies of your entire lives. It is certainly true! As new students may not be
