so familiar with the new environment here and you need time to adopt to
the new life in our school, you can explore everything interesting with your
friends and also work with them. Mental support is extremely crucial. You
may experience highs and lows in your life and friends are the ones who
listen to you and back you up. Take me as an example. Looking back on
the Student Union election last year, I was always frustrated and nervous
as students and teachers had high expectations of me, which severely
affected my performance. But then my friends encouraged me and raised
me up eventually by sharing their own experiences with me. Friends are
the buddies that stand by you no matter what. Without them, I may have
collapsed.

Whenever you encounter difficulties academically, you can always find
your teachers to help cope with that. So it is important to maintain good
relationships with your teachers too.

Please give our new students a round of applause to welcome them. I
hope my advice is useful. Thank you for your listening and I wish you all
an enjoyable school life in the new academic year. Thank you!
